What is our vision ?

Reply: SELAYANG CAPITOL, a popular shopping mall in the District of Selayang.

Activities / mission to achieve our vision:-

1. Crowd puller and competitive pricing supermarket should be taken in ASAP by LTS/Six Happiness.

2. MC and new supermarket operator should work-out advertising plan to boost up the activities of the complex within three months.

3. Dialogue session with owners of vacant parcels and prospective tenants should be held like "open House". It should be organised by property agent & publicised in local media.

4. Stern action be taken NOW to recover debts from defaulters so that we have sufficient fund to rectify all basic necessities. Accounts staff should be given responsibility to monitor collections closely.

5. Tighter security of the complex is very important and which should include car park area. Performance of guards should be closely monitored.

6. Weekly activities/performance should be activated to attract crowd to the complex.

7 Long Term Plan for the common area in the complex should be drawn up by qualified person to bring in more income.

8. The complex surrounding should be brightened up especially at night. The dead tree trunks and bushes should be cleared by MPS immediately.

9. Frame work for the signboard at the complex frontage should be planned to attract advertisement.

10. A proper and Bigger size signboard for " Selayang Capitol" should be put up at appropriate place.

11. To display directory of shop lots at the entrance of complex.

NEW SUPERMARKET 超级市场

Everyday owners and tenants are asking the same question:-

"When is our New Supermarket will start their operations in Selayang Capitol Complex ? " All of them are restless and impatient. Those who wish to move in are putting on-hold and those who are renting the lots are feeling the pain and planning for other alternative.

Optical England has moved out in June 2011 and it was told that the operator will consider to come back as soon as the supermarket is back.

Lately, KFC is also seriously considering to move out in August 2011 if supermarket does not come-in soon.

金都广场超级市场几时开始营业？到目前为止还是没有消息。听说 KFC 很有可能在八月搬，除非有超级市场。

When is New Supermarket arriving at Selayang Capitol ?



Almost everyday customers , tenants and owners of businesses in the complex are asking the same question and making enquires about the status of new anchor tenant.

Numbers of prospective tenants are surveying the space to rent and they will only move in as soon as new supermarket is known and confirmed.

Nobody seems to know the progress of inviting new supermarket by LTS, the owner of former Bintang Lot. Mr. Taji, our complex manager cannot provide any answer too.

Owners, tenants and customers are hoping and praying that new supermarket can come-in sooner. Everybody believes and confident that with new supermarket and proper planning, businesses will be back to normal and glory of the past will flourish.

NEW MC COUNCIL MEMBERS

Congratulations to representative of LTS (linked to Six Happiness Restaurant)for being appointed as new council member replacing Mr Tham Mee Hong who has resigned with effect from April, 2011.
Hopefully, our new council member ie. LTS will help bring up our Selayang Capitol Complex as soon as possible. Being largest area owner in Selayang Capitol Complex, it is believed that LTS (combined with Six Happiness Restaurant) can be influential and get the support from council members of MC and owners of other parcels when carry out any project or proposal.

MINI POST IN KOMPLEKS SELAYANG CAPITOL

Pejabat Pos in our complex had moved to Selayang Mall few months ago. Since then, we have lost many shoppers. Many people complaint that Pejabat Pos moved to Selayang Mall at 3rd floor was a big mistake. It didn't take into account the handicapped and elderly people. Besides, the parking lots are limited and narrow.

Persatuan wrote to Pejabat Pos Besar and they have agreed we can set up a mini Pos in our complex. What should our MANAGEMENT CORPORATION do now is to get somebody to set up private mini Pos with the approval of Pejabat Pos Besar as soon as possible.
